NovaTek Business Solutions Inc ("NovaTek") sends text messages from (866) 576-2808 only to customers who have given verbal consent during a phone call or in-person conversation with a NovaTek representative. This page documents how consent is collected and what customers can expect.
How customers opt in
Before any text is sent, a NovaTek representative reads the following script word for word and waits for a clear "yes":
Representative: "May NovaTek Business Solutions send you text messages at this number about your account, including support updates, appointment and demo reminders, and invoice and payment notices? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Do you agree?"
Customer: "Yes."
The representative then records in the NovaTek CRM the customer's name, mobile number, the date and time of consent, and the name of the representative who collected it. Consent is never a condition of purchase. Customers who decline are not texted.
Confirmation message
Immediately after consent is recorded, the customer receives:
